General Tips:
We would advise that you pay particular attention to the following areas;
Make sure all research on the company is thorough and complete; consider projects/acquisitions that they are currently involved in. This can be found through the corporate site, (Investor Information), you can down load Presentations and Financial Announcements and Press Releases , however you may need to do a little digging around. Be confident, clear and concise in your answers.
Demonstrate and provide concise examples of your experience. When using examples be specific rather than generalise.Be ready to articulate your achievements. Provide specific examples of your approach to your work.From the research carried out you may be asked what you know about the organisation, the structure and any challenges faced by them.
We would advise that you dress in an appropriate manner, presentation is of key concern to the organisation.
Be ready and well-prepared to articulate your achievements and success stories to the interview panel
Consider areas of personal development (perhaps outside of work) that you wish to give attention too.
Construct a prepared list of questions to put to the interview panel, as this will be the opportunity to address any concerns that you may have regarding the remit of the role or the organisation - remember you need to interview them as much as they are interviewing you, so you can make an informed decision about whether the role and opportunity is right for you.
Be enthusiastic and personable! Remember that an interview is as much about cultural fit as it is experience. Its important that your interviewer comes away with a feeling that you have a passion for what you do, and that you want the job!
We hope this information helps with your preparation.
